Emotional Response

Emotional Responses is a good technique to use. This is because our emotions help us to see ourselves benefiting and using this particular product which we want to buy. We get excited by some things we see advertised which is an emotion just like some charity adverts we see make us sad so people might want to give money. We buy something its because you want it and cant wait to get it, usually which are the emotions attached from the advert when you see it. The main reason company's advertise is to get a response from potential customers and make a sale.


In this advert a woman goes back through memories with a family photo album that shows good times around Coca Cola the product being sold. This advert shows emotional response. The advert doesn't go off and confuse viewers producers know exactly what they're going for and how they want consumers to feel. It shows the whole family through different stages bonding over Coca Cola. We see a women throughout the whole advert who looks like the mother of the looking for the coca cola while walking through all these picture frames. This helps the advert relate to women and mothers, so i think this is their target audience on this one advert. They have thought about where family customs might use this product and tried to relate situations in their advert to other peoples life and possible experiences at some point. They base it around these experiences to make people feel like they can connect to the product. This makes viewers emotionally respond to the advert if they see the family pictures in the advert.
